Let me see. Having Bush "investigate" what went wrong with Katrina. Isn't that like asking the fox and raccoon to guard the henhouse? And giving them the key to the door?

Well bush did do a good job investigating the CIA leak and holding the guilty parties accountable.
If the army can investigate itself on the Abu Gharaib and GITMO prisoner abuse allegations and the air force was able to investigate itself during it's airforce academy religious intolerance scandal, then surely bush is entitled to another white wash for himself.
Native Oregonian Quaker/Celtic I'm working on it. When I figure it you'll be the first to know. Cat lover and gardener’s apprentice. Have been and still am a seeker trying to strike a balance between Christian heritage and the older European traditions.
