Picture of the night sky over Utah. The picture was taken in 2003 and is a spectacular shot of the Milky Way. It was taken from a national park. Obviously a long way from the city lights. You just don't see scenes like this in the city.

Keep in mind that this is a time exposure, and therefore, quite different that what you would actually see if you were out there at night looking at the sky. But I'm sure it would be spectacular, nonetheless.. Lisa :-]
The night sky is wonderful here in Utah. I have been enjoying the Perseid meteor shower almost every night. Supposed to peak this weekend but I'll be in Seattle. Hope I can see the night sky then.
