Another great Jack Ohman cartoon. But, I have to admit I think it's kind of insultiing. To the pigs of the world, not the veep. I don't think it's possible to insult Mr. Cheny, he does a good enough job on his own.

I'm surprised he didn't miss the lips and stick it in her eye.--Cin
The other day one of the extra credit questions I threw in on a quiz was "Name one candidate who is running for the 2008 presidential election." Got lots of Hillarys, as expected; however, not one, but three kids (keep in mind these are 7th graders who basically don't live in the same reality you and I do) said "Dick Cheney." I wanted to write NO. Thank you God. My only explanation is that it was mentioned several times during the unit that being Veep he is the President of the Senate. Another thing that has made me pause and give thanks is a video I showed yesterday. It's about presidential personalities and style, lots of quirks (like James Monroe liked to swim nude in the Potomac) and I've had to sit through footage of Nixon, Reagan, and George H.W. 4 times. It turns my stomach, but also makes me so glad we're done with them and almost done with W. There's a light at the end of the tunnel! *debbi*
Native Oregonian Quaker/Celtic I'm working on it. When I figure it you'll be the first to know. Cat lover and gardener’s apprentice. Have been and still am a seeker trying to strike a balance between Christian heritage and the older European traditions.

I don't think even the most accomplished cartoonist can truly capture Cheney's ugliness -- inside and outside. What a vile subhuman.

Pigs are wise and intelligent animals. I agree. It is insulting to THEM.
